I'm new to this process. How do I start?

Welcome! To start out, I reccomend you look at my porfolio and figure out what type of makeup you want to have done. Then, book me and I'll email you a contract with all of the details included. 

 

What do I do if I have allergies?

I can accomadate most allergies by avoiding certain products. After you have booked me, I will email you and ask if you have any allergies. This way I can ensure that you are beautiful and not itchy!

 

How should I prepare for a makeup session?

Try to moisturize and exfoliate your skin, as well as get a goods night rest. I will include some tips for you after you book me.

 

Do you teach makeup lessons? What is included?

Yes I do! I can teach small classes (1-5 people) or larger classes (6-10 people). In these classes, I teach you a variety of makeup application techniques, (like smokey eyes, eyebrows, color correction, and more) so you can learn how to look like you've just had a professional makeup job. What types of products do you use? 

i tailor the brand of makeup depending on skin sensitivity, allergies, and the look we're going for. Rest assured, I only use high quality products.

 

How long will my makeup last?

It will last all day (12-15 hours), but some people may need minor touchups throughout the day. Most of the products I use are water resistant and long lasting. 

 

What do we do for a Wedding Consultation?

This is the time for me and the bride to sit down and discuss what type of look they want for their big day. We can create looks varying from natural to glitz and glam. I also do a trial run through where I apply the makeup that you have chosen and then we see how long it lasts and how well you enjoy the look. I wrap up the meeting by making a face chart, writing down a list of products I have used, and I take a picture for future reference. 

 

Do you do hair?

Sorry! I am not yet experienced in hair, but you can refer to my Partners page for some hair salons that I have worked with before. 

 

Do you require a deposit?

I require deposits for all weddings and appointments exceeding $175. The deposit amount will be included in the contract and must be recieved before the appointment.

 

What kind of Makeup do you do?

I do all kinds of makeup from Simple and Glam to High Fashion and Editorial. I also do Special F/X makeup as well as Theatrical makeup.
